Saturday was a huge day for the For Life Experience Junior Team, as I picked up the entry forms for us too enter the British Young Carp Angling Championships! This will be brilliant for all of us as it’s a real chance to make a stamp and press it in on the carp world. The event is held at the prolific Brasenose 1 on the Oxford linear complex. It’s a day ticket water so anyone can go and have a try on it. It’s packed full of hard fighting fish to over 30lb, it’s also where my current pb was caught!

The lay out of the competition is made up of 4, day only eliminators, the top eight from each eliminator goes into the 48hr final. So it’s important you can really get some practise on the water before the competition because you’ve only got 9 hours to make a big impression and get into the final.

Me and the rest of the team will keep you updated with are preparation for the big event in August, but first we need to make sure we get in so wish us luck, you never know we might see you there!
