THE REEL DEAL!
So you have the basics of the art of fishing mastered. Now comes the time for you to explore all the joys that this amazing pastime has to offer. The Reel Deal is made up of five sessions, the final session being an overnight experience that will be remembered forever!
To start with we master pole fishing, aiming to target Roach, Rudd, Tench, small Carp and Perch. This is a great day out, lots of fun, with the focus being on making new friends.
Session two sees the group float fishing with rod and line. This is where the real skills can start to be developed with accurate casting and baiting providing the key to a keepnet full of fish! We hold this leg of the Reel Deal at a well stocked carp water where the rod will be bent double.
Session three is an introduction to feeder fishing. This is a thrilling experience as you wait for the tip of the rod to pull round as a big fish powers off in the opposite direction. Big bags of fish can be caught so don't forget the camera!
Session four will see our attention turn to the impressive carp. We will learn how to out wit and catch these massive fish ready for our over night session.
For the final session our target species is carp. This magnificent, majestic fish is seen in many anglers' eyes as being the king of the lake. We will set out on an overnight carp session, enjoying the thrill of being at a lake after dark. Once the sun sets the lake is a magical place and the tranquillity and peacefulness should be experienced by all. This really will be a memory that will stay in the mind forever.
Certificates will be handed out at a presentation evening where we will celebrate our successes.
State of the art equipment will be supplied for all sessions, as will bait, permits, licenses, and tuition. All of our tutors have many years of fishing experience. More importantly they all have had years of experiences running activities with groups, either at outdoor centres, youth groups, scouts etc.
No previous experience is required to enrol in a Reel Deal program. All you need is enthusiasm, determination and a desire to learn the art of fishing.
We will be running our Reel Deal sessions during the school holidays or if you have a group of six and want to experience the Reel Deal call the office and book a week you will remember for life!
